About
I trained in General Surgery (DNB) at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad, after my MBBS from Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Nashik. In July 2014 I founded Alka Hospital in Lonand, a 30-bed surgical facility that today serves a large regional patient base.
As Chief General Surgeon I lead a multidisciplinary team performing a high volume of open, laparoscopic, colorectal and laser-assisted procedures. I introduced advanced dual-frequency diode laser technology to the region for proctology and vein treatment, and oversee strict patient-safety standards, including electrical and fire safety audits.
My international training at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, UK, gave me hands-on exposure to advanced minimal access colorectal surgery and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, which I now apply for faster recovery at Alka Hospital.
I am an MMC-accredited speaker and a regular delegate at national and international surgical congresses.
